A singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Bill Simms hails from Corner Brook, Newfoundland, but is now living in Toronto, Ontario.
His music ranges stylistically from folk to country, blues, and soul with a variety of side trips in between, and lyrics along for the ride that utilize both his cheeky sense of humour and honest sincerity. Bill holds a diploma in Music Industry and Performance as well as a Degree in Jazz Studies and has performed with various artists including The Stephenville Theatre Festival Band, Sarah Beatty, The Heavy Horses, and Evan Smith.
